Oh my, what a surprise to receive a small note from you in my mailbox! I almost passed over it completely, but I have read it now and found it somewhat entertaining, I admit.
I think that sewing curtains is an admirable endeavor on your part, and I wish you all the best. If, of course, you should need help in remembering how to tie a sewing knot to begin with, please drop by and I shall, of course, teach you. I also am going to work further on my sitting room curtains. I have only finished half of them as we speak, for I have been far too occupied with ball gowns and further dresses for my lovely daughters, who are growing and traveling further into society, and so need my help, instruction and skill to help further them.
William has become very close friends with Pierre le Fox, which is very satisfactory.
Fondly, Lily Merriman
