Why how lovely to hear from you. I do agree with you, it warms the heart to see our young ladies with such lovely manners and deportment at their school. It would only be hoped that they maintained that dignity through the rest of the year, as my daughters do, but alas this seems not to be possible. I can't believe some of the stories coming through town - Polly Wickon balancing on her roof because she was BORED? What madness! I am shocked.
Yes, Felicity has begun offering private lessons in dance to anyone who needs them or desires to become more proficient in their dances and dancing skills. While she does not hold regular classes, she has several very nice students. I believe even Teresa attended a class in order to prepare for her exam.
What does dear Teresa do with her time? And how is your household running? My children are all assembled in the kitchen, preparing to enter the dining room as soon as I have finished this missive. They are all dressed for dinner and am chatting together about what they did during the day. Felicity is so engrossed with her dresses for her trip to court, and while she is very studious, I worry about her lack of interaction with the rest of the town. Perhaps she should spend more time visiting her friends and walking about town? What do you suggest?
Fondly, Lily Merriman
