Willow made this dress for Ana out of a child's Indian Sari, which was given to us as a hand-me-down from some friends of ours who lived in India for four years. It has such beautiful fabric and a complicated skirt hem, that we just had to preserve it somehow, and we thought we could make it look Spanish, so Willow re-made it as one of Ana's dresses.
Ana Valasquez's Dresses:
Her most treasured possession is her wedding dress, which took her a whole year to make when she was getting ready to be married to her husband, Tomas. It is made in the style of traditional Mexican wedding dresses. Ana also loves to sew herself dresses to wear to dinners and parties.
