Do you have sunny days all year 'round where you live? I thought not. So neither should your doll town. When you decide it is a good time for it (or even a bad time for it - that can make some very interesting story lines unfold!) you can have a rainy day.
In order for doll letters to be sent and paid for in your doll town, make some doll-sized stamps. All you need is a sheet or two of paper used for printing labels. You can find these at any office supply store.
A post office is a fun way to keep your dolls in communication with each other and organize your mail system.
Have all your dolls choose pen pals and write them a letter. They can put the letter outside in their mailbox. This means you'll probably also need to come up with street names and addresses for the dollhouses (real or imaginary) in your town.
This one is a lot of fun. It's not very polite to gossip about people, but every town has that one person who just loves to talk about everyone else, right? The one person who somehow discovers all the secrets and just can't stop talking about it?
Now that your dollhouse is all set up and ready to go, it's time to have some fun with it and decorate for Valentine's day!
These little heart garlands are easy and fun to make and you can hang them all over your dollhouse walls and windows. You can even hang them up outside the house, too!
Continuing to add to the collection of photo stories here on the blog, here are four more stories that have been fully transferred. Enjoy re-reading these fun stories!
Making doll valentines is quite similar to making real Valentines, only smaller. You can use all kinds of fun craft items for your Valentine-making.
Lace, red, white and pink ribbon, glue and sprinkled sparkles in all different colors, small pictures of birds, flowers and other pretty things cut out of magazines and catalogues, Valentines stickers, colored pencils, pens, crayons, construction paper, tissue paper, doilies in different colors and anything else you have around the house make excellent Valentines!
Continuing to work on the photo stories, now there are six more photo stories added to the photo stories page. You can enjoy them all right here:
All of the pages are slowly being added to the blog, as you can see, but I know some people were wondering where the photo stories went, so I've started working on those. You can see all the photo stories that have been transferred so far right here under the tab that says Stories: Photo Stories.

As we get closer to Valentine's day, organize a Valentine exchange for your dolls. There are a few different ways that you can do this with dolls.
With all your dolls. Have each of your dolls make valentines for their friends in town and then get together to have a party and exchange valentines. This gives you lots of different valentines to make, and no one is left out.

Charades is a great game to play with your dolls at a party, special event, or even at a ball! Divide everyone at the party up into two teams and find two small boxes, one for each team. The goal of the game is to communicate a word without speaking.
