I am sorry to hear of the pressure felt by dear little Heather and Rebecca over exams at Proper School. They did very well though, of course. What differentiates a fiesta from a party? And which would you rather attend?
The election, yes. Whom to vote for, that is a question I have yet to properly devote my most careful thought to. Have you reached a decision?

The Proper School exams were certainly a stressful undertaking for Heather and Rebeccacita. I am so proud of Heather for getting first chair in her grade - how did Teresa do again? My favorite season would have to be Summer, because that's when the best parties and Fiestas happen! What do you think about the upcoming election? Who are you thinking of voting for Mayor?

You have not missed Mrs. Merriman's dancing lesson, for I believe it never came about. What a disappointment! I did go to Cristal Purr's fashion release, Ana and I are the only ones who observe the fashions in my family. It is unfortunate, but I have tried to persuade Mama many times and all without success.
What are you doing to occupy yourself now that the Summer months have come? It is getting quite hot here at the Rancho.

Oh my, how was being in charge this time? Did you have fun? Was it nice having some extra freedom? Or difficult becaues of all the responsibility on your shoulders? I imagine it was nice having Josefina in charge as well. I know that I could never run our large estate without Samantha's help! I rather need to make some new dresses!

I am so dreadfully sorry to hear about the argument between your parents, although it seems to me if I may be so bold, that they both have rather easy to arouse tempers which must conflict at times. That is usually the case with highly opinionated people. An example of this is Cristal Purr and Suzanne Wickon's friendship. Being people who openly voidtheir thoughts on every subject, they are often the best of friends one day and enemies the next!
Well, even with all these extra responsibilities I am sure you were perfectly capable of dealing with it all. I saw your dress being fitted the last tie I dropped in at your house! I must admit that it looks absolutely exquisite on you! I was planning on sewing a new gown for the upcoming ball as my ice blue one is perfectly appropriate, but the other day I found the loveliest orange silk from India in the General Store and simply could not resist!
