February 19th, 2009 -new!
Hey there Lilz,
Well, for x-mss this year we had pancakes for breakfast, then opened up all the many presents, and we also ate out for dinner. We ate at Bamboo Terrace. You really should try eating there! The grub's just great! Well I just cleaned the house 'cause Laura just had her usual b-day party. The kids had fun eating sushi, pizza, beef shish kabobs, bear meat, chips and salsa, grilled fish, egg rolls, and reese's cake. Mmmm....
Then they watched four or five movies. So, how's the old lawn mower running in your house? Got any cool news?

Christmastide is here at last, and, as always, my children are enjoying the festivities immensely. Nan and William are having a jolly time pushing the plucked goose around in a baby carriage, which I think is dreadful, but I don't have the energy to prevent it.
Rachel and Lissie are both very much enjoying this time cooking their new Christmas recipes. I am particularly excited about the Yule puddings - I hope they turn out as well as I anticipate!
Thank you for joining us to celebrate Thanksgiving. I would like to thank you also for bringing along the creme brûlée for us to dine on for the dessert course. It was a wonderful choice and it tasted divine as well. It was Cristal Purr's prizewinning recipe, correct?
How was your Christmastide? How did you and your children celebrate?
Sincerely, Lily Merriman
